🔷 PULL-OFF TEST.

Friday, 18/2/2022, 02:32 (GMT+7)
Its common in the Industrial floor coating industry the facility owner request the applicator to measure the pull-off strength (or bonding strength) of the coating applied. This is to test the quality of the resistance of a coating to separation from a substrate when a perpendicular tensile force is applied.
🔷 PULL-OFF TEST.

During the Tet festival holidays, #IFS was entrusted to refurbish a warehouse floor for the largest agricultural product processing factory in Dong Nai. After completion, the owner requested #IFS to perform quality check: i). Pull-off test to measure the adhesion/bonding strength of the coating system and ii). to check the coating thickness.

This facility owner has chosen to use polyurethane anti-microbial flooring system, Flowfresh MF 4mm. thickness with Flowseal HTS top seal coat; which provides a high abrasion resistance surface, colour stable, slightly anti-slip, good chemical resistance, and easy to clean the surface.

🔷 NOTE:
The industry standard for Pull-off strength (or Bonding strength) is “Greater than cohesive strength of 25 N/mm2 concrete. >1.5 MPa”.
Our test Pull-off read as 2.09 MPa.
Thickness: 4 mm.
