The skirting is the junction between the wall (panel partition) and floor, which is also the place that is heavily exposed to the accumulation of dirt, moisture, and mechanical impacts caused during the factory’s operation.

Skirting is one of the must-have detailing for factories in industries such as the food, pharmaceutical, and healthcare sectors. These environments require deep cleaning that minimizes the risk of contamination. Although it is a small detailed work, it plays an important role in the finishing works, increases the aesthetics of the floor used, and will make cleaning easier between the intersection of the wall and floor.

Depending on the designed requirements, there are different skirting heights like 50mm (H), 100mm (H), and 200mm (H)…. There are usually two types of skirting mortars: Epoxy and Polyurethane materials. These are high-strength mortars, impact-resistant, and high-temperature resistant where hot water cleaning is required with high frequency.
